Lucid dreaming is common and I do it a lot. But recently I’ve begun dreaming — that I’m having lucid dreams (if that makes sense). The ‘focal person’ of my dream — the dream ‘me’ — is asleep and having a lucid dream which they (not me) are controlling. So, is that still lucid dreaming? I tried for ‘Dream Interpretation’ but YA wanted Psychology — oh, well!
I was asked to do affirmations with a rose quartz pyramid as it gives harmony to relationships, so i bought it 3 days back but also noticed as I came back home that on one side it has a long crack …. I’m not sure if I must continue using it or is it considered inauspicious? can anyone guide, anyone whose aware of crystal healing, or energy generations, or similar stuff….lemme know.
I was eating a home made bread pizza too fast and a peice shot down my throat and I was chocking and my air pipe blocked. I could not get it out with trying to clear my throat and I was looking air suffocating. I could not swallow it either. So I was praying and hunched over and did the heimlick on myself and it popped out. I almost passed out and might have died, on paice of freaking food, as I was alone…. AM I over reacting?
Also, it perhaps show a sign of will which is based on a motive. Without that, an inanimate object otherwise considered not alive, however possessing consciousness, would also be considered alive. Is it fair to draw the line for living consciousnesses at having motive, self-awareness, and direction? It means we are requiring a consciousness to have an ego to exist. Is it necessary to have ego to exist?
Many people like William James http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/james/ believed that psychology should include the study of the total human experience including psychic and religious experiences. Many people that study psi are psychologist and apply those standards to their research. Many recent scientist have conducted psi experiments according to the standards of the science they were trained in like biologist Rupert Sheldrake or medical doctor Raymond Moody.
If there are spiritual forces/entities that recycle things as I believe there are. And there is more energy in blood. That might be why. (Might even be why women have PMS. They are under psychic/spiritual attack). But couldn’t they have found better ways to deal with this, other than making them hide in caves? Like prayer, meditation, and having the Light surround them for Protection during that time? Anthony Silva USA
It seems to me sympathy is more like an ego thing(feeling sorry for someone with the idea that I’m glad it’s not me?) while empathy seems to have more of a spiritual side; it seems to have deeper roots(to not just feel sympathy but to actually connect with someone’s suffering because we all suffer and feel pain so we know how it is). Is there a vast difference between the two or are they just different degrees of the same thing?
