Prophecies by parrots in India, Real Or Fake?

India is country famous for many things among which are prophecies made by parrots, I am sure as soon as i said prophecies by parrots you started thinking small crates carrying a green parrot with red beak with its wings clipped, made to pick up some strange cards randomly and from that a seer telling you some prediction, If you did think like this then you are thinking of exactly what I am talking About.Hope that was not confusing.

Yes many people who have grown up with traditional beliefs and superstitions do believe this actually take these prophecy parrots of India very seriously.While some others who have grown up in the metropolitan cities such as Bangalore,Mumbai,Kolkata ,Delhi do not believe them.

But definitely there is no scientific proof backing up the prophecy parrots of India.

The poor seers make a living out of this and except for the small cage, they actually take care of the parrots well.
These people depend on the prophecy parrots for thier living, they get about five to ten rupees for a prediction and about fifty rupees make a dollar, so unfortunately they do not earn very much but still manage to take care of a parrot.My only wish is that these birds get larger carry crates in which they can at least stretch their clipped wings and perhaps have a toy in their to play with, or may be thats too much to ask from the seers who are trying to earn a living.They have a hard life for sure but so do the parrots which make the predictions, next time you are in India and see a parrot like this at least make a donation so that the parrot and the seer can have a better life.
