OSHO: God Is Not a Solution – but a Problem

God created the world — really? Please allow the question: “Who created God”? Interesting perhaps? — “Creation means: finished! — the full stop has arrived. On the sixth day, the full stop; and after that there is no possibility of evolution Evolution implies that creation is not complete, hence the possibility of evolving. Charles Darwin is saying that the creation is an ongoing process, that existence is always imperfect, that it is never going to be perfect; only then can it go on evolving, reaching new peaks, new dimensions, opening new doors, new possibilities.” —

About Osho

Osho is a enlightened mystic whose wisdom, clarity and humor have touched the lives of millions of people around the world. His insights are creating the conducive atmosphere or ‘ Atma-Sphere ” for the emergence of what he calls the ‘New Man’ or Zorba the Buddha, the combination of celebration, dance and song of Zorba and the silence, stillness and meditation of the Buddha, the meditation of the East and the materialism of the West. Zorba the Buddha is a totally new human being who is an awakened one, and he is life-affirmative and free. When someone asked Osho the definition of religion, Osho replied: To be in romance with life is religion.

  • Is this the usual thing nowadays of putting up a straw God to knock down? LOL

Osho doesn’t sound remotely as wise as he wants to be seen to be.

As for the “6 days of creation”. Over 2000 years ago in the talmud and other holy scriptures of the Jews (since this derives from their Holy book), it is stated that “6 days” means 6 *periods of time*

The idea of it being 6 days literally has only started in relatively recent times.

Read up Dr Gerald Shroeders’s explanations of it.

    Best wishes to all

  • Osho was against even the idea that we are all god. He wrote against Alan Watts’ description of leela as god playing all the parts of everything in the universe, but at the same time he loves Watts’ The Book, which is all about that idea.

  • All the intelligent people liked it and all the idiots disliked it for sure. Its a beautiful video thanx

  • God does not mean someone sitting somewhere up in the sky and administering the world from there. No,these are stories for children. What is meant by God is that element other than which nothing exists. This is the scientific definition of God. God means the whole, the total, everything whatever is. What is cannot have a shore, because there remains nothing else to form the coast. Therefore God is everywhere; there is no shore. One who is ready to drown is saved. One who tries to be saved, drowns.

  • Buddh: “All phenomena arise from causes and conditions.
    That’s what the Tathagattas teach.
He who puts an end to the causes,
    Is great shramanera.”

  • Someone does have a problem, you’re right. Shoveling one’s responsibility and power onto an imaginary pretend father figure is a seriously problem and one we will have to over come.

  • osho contradicts himself by believing in yourself ,by saying dont believe in gods those who want to believe in god.i believe in god ..and believing in super power who cares about you is like believing your mom or dad or loving them..simply..i feel sad when people like osho dont understand why is it more harm to say an ignorant person that GOD dont exist where there is already intution of god who is thought to be good.
