How many of you Christians also believe in tarot, ghosts, and horoscopes?

  • I believe they exist because I seen them but they are not what people think they are. It is all wickedness and communing with the dead and demons

  • Miss Tree is right, probably more than you’d think. I’ve actually done several tarot readings for Christians. Shoot, I had a Baptist friend of mine that liked to sit in on my rituals when we were roommates. Not to mention that my mother’s side of the family is heavily Catholic and quite firm believers in ghosts and many claim to have not only seen them but spoken to them as well.

  • More than you’d think!

I know an astrologer/tarot reader and most of her clients are Christian. They don’t tell people about seeing her.

  • I know it exists and that demons (angels that rebelled against God) are behind spiritism liked those described above and those who practice it will not see the kingdom of God

    Gal 5:19
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these. As to these things I am forewarning YOU, the same way as I did forewarn YOU, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.

  • Lol- I’m not a Christian- but I think those things are frowned on if you do believe in them- you know – work of the devil etc etc. I’m not saying I think that, but that’s what Christians think

  • God forbids Christians to dabble in the occult. Unfortunately their are a lot of ignorant Christians doing those things and calling them safe. They are not safe to play or practice they are an abomination to the Lord.

here is what the Bible says about those practices. Ghosts are the fallen angels aka demons. No such thing as ghosts.
As Christians we are to know what is good to do and what is not.
Abominable PracticesDeuteronomy 18: 10 – 12 outlines very specifically a number of different kinds of false prophets. God speaks very clearly about His regard for them as well. “There shall not be found among you anyone… who practices witchcraft (the use of magic), or a soothsayer (a diviner), or one who interprets omens (someone who reads signs), or a sorcerer (a magician or wizard), or one who conjures spells, or a medium (a person claiming to be in contact with spirits of the dead), or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord.”

Astrology Forbidden to Christians Fortune telling and astrology are lumped together with other forbidden practices as sorcery and are abominable to God. Christians must not participate in these practices. The Bible is clear. Those who continue doing these things, will find themselves left out of God’s kingdom. “Outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” See also Revelation 21:8 and Galatians 5: 19 – 21.
