  • Indian Head Massage (Champissage) might benefit you, as long as it is not contraindicated for you…you would need to discuss that with a qualified practitioner first.

Other than that you could try an epsom salts bath with a little essential oil of lavender in their…..allow yourself to soak for a good while and lie down so that your upper shoulders and neck area are bathed.

You could also try some anti-anxiety herbal teas such as oat straw, chamomile, lemon balm, lavender, linden [lime], or rooibos. It is possible you may have a B vitamin deficiency…you could try a B50 strength vitamin B complex tablet …time release formulation… to see if that helps.

    Best wishes.

  • I really think you should book an appointment at a Spa.
They will give you a nice massage and all your tension will be gone!
Try relaxing in a hot tub until your toes look like raisins. It works for me!
You seem really stressed out? Why is that?

How about you just let go of everything? I think you should take a vacation somewhere down in the Bahamas, oor go to a beach. Maybe a nice little nap will work for you

  • Tired and stressed muscles like heat. You can take hot shower, keep the water running on your neck and shoulders for some time. You can sit in a jacuzzi and have the hot water massage the muscles. You can use heat pad and take aspirin, it has analgetic properties and it works in a short time. Vitamin C and Magnesium are also good muscle relaxers, but you need to take it for a while.

  • abnormal muscle tension is often the result of interference to the nerves that govern them. to check for nerve interference, see an hio method chiropractor. certainly you may continue trying the symptom suppressive/medical approach, but don’t be surprised if it continues to prove a failure.

  • Oh go to a massage therapist!! I am a massage therapist and work with people like you EVERY day with the EXACT same problems. They do yoga and still have headaches and tension in their neck and shoulders. Check online and see if there are any massage schools or therapists in your area and schedule a massage. Until then, take some ibuprofen.
Also….take a dixie cup, fill it up with water about 3/4 of the way and stick it in the freezer. When it freezes, take it out and rub it on your neck and shoulders no longer than 5 minutes. It really stinks while you are doing it, but after, it feels wonderful
And one more…a stretch you can do for your neck and shoulders. sit down in a computer chair or any chair. Grab the bottom of the seat with one hand and drop that shoulder. Just relax it as much as possible. Take your other hand and pull your head to that side. Hold for about 10 seconds and do it about 3 times.
    Good luck!!

  • try calcium…. organic calcium powder … just follow the instructions on the bottle… or eat a large green leafy salad…. rich in calcium…. that ought to relieve the stress tension, headaches and muscle pain.

the calcium powder will also help to relieve insomnia, bloating, cramping, constipation, fatigue and exhaustion, irritability and moodiness………..;0)

not a herb, but a good solution.
