do you believe in shamanism? how does it work?
I just came from this place that had energy healers and it seemed i could feel these energy. In a couple of days I started to go into this meditative state where I had heightened senses and felt extremly empathetic. can anyone relate to this. I told my shrink and she just said I was psychotic. She gave me these pills and I ended up in the ER with extreme paranoia with delusions. The pills MADE me psychotic. now Im confused as to what the hell is going on with me

You may find a film called The Pharmacratic Inquisition DVD (I found it today in google films) interesting, theres much about the origins of halluciagenic plants/shrooms etc which were/are used in Shamanistic rituals.
(I’m completely against man-made drugs by the way, probably a fear of them turning me psychotic too!) I feel very sad that so called therapists think that every person can be healed by giving mind altering drugs, shame on the lady that gave them to you … I really hope that you are on the right road to recovery. (I would be more inclined to take further advice from the healing center you visited?)
