If clairvoyance was such an abomination then I think God would not have such things exist. I honestly believe the bible was a creation of a group of men that only wanted to benefit their own interest. I think the bible derives from many other ancient scriptures that do bring spiritual wisdom, however, I think that what we know as the bible today is but a collection of selected scriptures along with "made up" scriptures to justify certain actions by the church and the state.
